BONANG MATHEBA TO HOST MISS SOUTH AFRICA , AND WE ARE EXCITED TO SEE WHAT SHE WILL BE WEARING!

Highly acclaimed South African Media Personality and Fashion Icon, Bonang Matheba – ‘Queen B’, is the host of this year’s Miss South African pageant, and we are at the edges of our seats in anticipation of what/who she will be wearing. If you know ‘Queen B’, then you are definitely aware of her exquisite sartorial taste level, which has been nothing short of ‘jaw dropping’ every single time she makes an appearance – and I mean; every single time! With an event of this stature, lord knows what to expect.



Over the years Bonang has acquired internal recognition as a media personality, but for those who may not be familiar with the Queen, here is a little background.



Bonang Matheba, is a South African television personality, radio host, businesswoman and most recently reality T.V star. Bonang stars in a reality show based on her life; ‘Being Bonang’, and has recently published a biography holding the same title. She is the brand ambassador of global make up brand, Revlon Cosmetics South Africa and has been the host of multiple productions including; Clash of the choirs, Live, Top Billing to name a few.



In a few hours, we get to watch the Queen of S.A media walk us through the much sought after event, from the beginning up until the final crowning. 12 alluring, and probably nervous ladies will compete for the title and the chance to represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant in the Philippines.



This year marks the 60th anniversary with the Diamond Jubilee spectacular set to take place on Sunday, May 27, at Sun International’s new flagship venue, the Sun Arena at Times Square Casino, Pretoria.



The winner is to take home a R3 million prize package and of course the much sought after crown. The package will include R1 million in cash as well as the use of a fully furnished and serviced apartment for the year of reign, a Nissan Qashqai worth R445 500 and the use of designer garments for her red carpet looks.



This will all go down today; Sunday, 27 May at 17:00 Central African Time. The Miss South Africa pageant will be screened on M-Net (DStv 101) and Mzansi Magic (DStv 161).
