African music icon Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, commonly known by his stage name; D’banj and wife Lineo Didi, have lost their one year old son Daniel Oyebanjo.
The little boy is said to have met his fate yesterday, Sunday the 25th of June, after drowning in the house pool at D'banj's residence in Ikoyi, Lagos state.
Confirming this catastrophic event, D’banj took a short message to his Instagram page accompanied by a black image saying:
“Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful."
According to local media, D’banj was in Los Angeles attending the 2018 BET Awards when the death of his son occurred.
The bereaved parents who had just celebrated their son's first birthday during the month of May, have received an overwhelming amount of sympathy from fans and prominent figures.
